Joop M. Grevelink, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Joop ("Yope") M. Grevelink received his M.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Leiden, the Netherlands. After completing a Biomedical Engineering postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Utah, he received his residency training in dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. He established and directed for nine years the MGH Laser Center and continues his affiliation with Massachusetts General Hospital for over 2o years. Under his tutelage in his fellowship many physicians are trained in laser surgery. He is Board Certified in Dermatology, and has written numerous articles for dermatology publications, periodicals, academic peer review and chapters for dermatology books. He currently serves on the Editorial Board of Cosmetic Dermatology. Dr. Grevelink has been a clinical investigator for numerous laser companies and frequently presents at national and international conferences and seminars. He was Program Chairman of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery at its annual meeting. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, the American Society for Dermatology Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Grevelink has staff privileges at Massachusetts General Hospital and Winchester Hospital.

Robert Staszewski, M.D., FACP
Dr. Robert Staszewski received his M.D. from Yale University and completed residencies in Internal Medicine at the Beth Israel Hospital and in Dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA, where he was a Chief Resident. Dr. Staszewski is a Board Certified Dermatologist, and completed a Clinical and Research Fellowship in Dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, and Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. Among his awards are election to the Tau Beta Pi Honor Society, the Award for Outstanding Achievement as an Undergraduate, Columbia University, a Howard Hughes Doctoral Fellowship in Physics at Harvard University, a New York State Regents Medical Scholarship, and a National Research Service Award. Dr. Staszewski has staff privileges at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA, and the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, Boston, MA. Dr. Staszewski has published in numerous peer reviewed journals.

Jennifer Hunter-Yates, M.D.
Dr. Jennifer Hunter-Yates received her M.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, and her residency in dermatology at Brown University, where she served as a chief resident. After residency, Dr. Hunter-Yates completed a one-year fellowship in Laser and Cosmetic Surgery with Dr. Joannes Grevelink. Prior to medical school, she graduated summa cum laude from Duke University with a dual degree in chemistry and psychology. She is a board-certified dermatologist and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Hunter-Yates has co-authored book chapters and articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Amy Geng, M.D.
Dr. Amy Geng received her M.D. from the Ohio State University College of Medicine. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and her residency in dermatology at Brown University, where she served as Co-Chief Resident. She was a research fellow at the Zakim Center for Integrated Therapies at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Cancer Center. Prior to medical school, she studied health care economics at Harvard College, and traditional Chinese medicine at Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, CA. She is a board-certified dermatologist and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Geng has authored book chapters and articles in peer-reviewed journals, and has made presentations at several international meetings including those of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Society for Investigative Dermatology.

Sneha Campanella, PA-C
Sneha Campanella is our Dermatology Physician Assistant. She did her undergraduate studies at the State University of NewYork (SUNY) at Stonybrookand completed her B.S in Physician Assistant Studiesat SUNY Downstate inBrooklyn, NY. While at Downstate she had a focus in Dermatology. She received awards includingelection to the Golden Key National Honors Society, Sigma Beta Honors Society, and Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Medical Honors Society. Sneha previously worked at Cornell Center for Reproductive Medicine and the Atkins Center for Complementary Medicine (both in NYC) and then at Essex Dermatology (Essex,CT) before joining Boston Dermatology and Laser Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She also lectured for the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery at the national convention.

Aliza A. Stern PA-C
Aliza Stern joined Boston Dermatology and Laser Center in February 2006. Originally from Connecticut, Aliza earned her Bachelors in Behavioral Neuroscience from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. She went on to receive her Masters in Medical Science from Yale University Medical School’s Physician Associate Program in 2003. In addition, she works per diem at Cambridge Hospital in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

 
Natalie Jones, PA-C
Natalie Jones joined Boston Dermatology and Laser Center in July 2006. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Natalie earned her B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Science at the University of Kansas. She went on to receive her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida’s College of Medicine in 2001. Prior to joining Boston Dermatology she worked at Geffen Cancer Center (Vero Beach, Florida) and on the trauma team at HCA Wesley Medical Center (Wichita, Kansas). Natalie is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Donna Gabriel, LPN, CMLSO
Ms. Donna Gabriel is a laser nurse coordinator at Boston Dermatology and Laser Center. She is responsible for the education of the staff and laser patients and also functions as the Laser Safety Officer and Infection Control Trainer. She has participated in several training seminars and clinical laser research studies, which included chairperson for the National Dermatology Nurses Association convention. She has been a speaker at laser courses both nationally and internationally and has published articles in several peer review journals. Before her laser career, Ms. Gabriel was a member of the Intensive Care Unit and Emergency room staff at hospitals in Massachusetts and in Alabama.

Ms. Gabriel is a member of American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Inc. (ASLMS). She is a member of the Dermatology Nurses' Association (DNA) and a past member of the Board of Directors for ALSMS. She was past president of the Massachusetts Chapter. She is the Chair of American National Standards (ANSI-136.2) Committee for the DNA, and onthe subcommittee for ANSI Z136.3 for Lasers in the Health Care Facilities and Chair of the many national laser workshops. Ms. Gabriel is also president of Gabriel Consultants, Hingham, MA.
